Mr Rao might have gone through trauma at a tender age. Maligning the sanctity of any temple and hurting its believers with personal displeasure on ones mind is not justifiable.

the miracle? fresh rice bunch magically falls from the metallic crown of the three devis. this is what devotees call prasadham. this is assumed as sign of devi getting prasann (happy). when i witnessed the horrible mass murder in the name of Goddesses (goat & chicken bali), my scientific mind could see that the metallic crowns vibrate from the resonance with the ghantis (bells). the miracle for me is the height of human rationalization to perform such as evil act in name of God/Goddess.

This is the place where i as a 9 yr old innocent child witnessed the horrific mass killing of innocent animals (hundreds of goats & chickens) in the name of bali to make Marla Devi Goddesses prasann or happy. I lost all respect to such practices & even hinduism here. It was very sad to see this happen in my own native place - Hattiangadi.
